Over forty years after the launch of the original Bell Moto-3 motocross helmet in 1971, Bell reimagined the iconic full-faced motocross lid in contemporary form and released it in 2016.
Bell kept the overall design aesthetic pretty true to the original form, but they’ve incorporated modern materials and brought the Bell Moto-3 up to modern fit, comfort and safety standards. The helmet is DOT and ECE certified and comes standard with a removable and washable liner. It comes in a number of different colors and liveries in addition to different visor options for personalization.
While the Bell Moto-3 was originally designed to be a motocross helmet, the recent resurgence in popularity of scrambler and street tracker styled motorcycles has a lot of folks rocking it on the street as well as the trails. In much the same way as they’ve done with the Bell Bullitt, Bell has proven that timeless design coupled with a splash of nostalgia is a winning formula every time.
